The story of our story should begin back in 1955 when my father emigrated to Venezuela looking for a better future for his family and with the hope of having his own vineyards and making his wine.
While he was there, he commissioned my grandfather to plant the vines of the Rajadero estate, whose vineyards today are part of this adventure. Upon his return, he would continue planting vineyards and handcrafting the wine that he would later sell at a small sale.
When he retired in 2014, he took charge of the vineyards, selling the grapes until we could build our own winery, making our first wine in 2019, calling it Rajadero because this was the name of the first estate in my father's vineyards and in his honor. .
